Religion of Peace

                Americans have heard over and over again the “Islam is a religion of peace.”  Many of us did not believe what we heard.  Now we have been proven right.

                Mosab Hassan Yousef was born in 1978, the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, one of seven founders of Hamas as well as the face of the “Second Intifada.” Mosab was prepped to follow in his father’s footsteps as a leader of terrorists.  While being prepped, he started asking questions and became convinced of the dishonesty of Hamas.

                Mosab eventually converted to Christianity and became an agent for Shin Bet, an Israeli security service.  He provided intelligence to the Israelis that helped them prevent terror attacks and led to the capture and imprisonment of Hamas terrorists.  He left Israel in 2007 and received political asylum in the United States.

                As the author of Son of Hamas, Mosab was interviewed by the Jerusalem Post in 2012.  In another interview, this one with Glenn Beck of The Blaze, Mosab made this shocking statement:  “Islam is the religion of war.”  This statement is exactly opposite from the one perpetrated by the Obama administration that continues to proclaim that Islam is the religion of peace. 

                Muhammad was not peaceful, and the Koran has numerous verses about killing the “infidel”; yet many Muslims appear to be peaceful.  Whether Islam is a religion of war or a religion of peace apparently depends on the individual Muslim as well as whom they follow.    Barack Obama cannot call terrorists or Islamic, but he did remind us of the Christian Crusaders while speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast.   I do not know if he actually knows different or if he just likes to lie, but I do not believe a word he says.  We obviously need a better authority on religion.  I however find it very interesting to read of Mosab who realized Islam was not the truth and chose to become a Christian.  True peace comes from obedience to the teachings of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world.
