Jane B. Parker Bedford

                    I did not find much information about Jane B. Parker, the wife of Gunning Bedford, Jr., signer of the United States Constitution.  The couple apparently married while he was attending the College of New Jersey (later Princeton, University) and became parents of at least one daughter.  I found one source that described her as "beautiful" but decided the entire site was questionable.

                    I feel badly that there is so little information about Mrs. Bedford on the present information highway.  I hope that her descendents know more about her because I feel certain that she was as outstanding as was her husband.
