Stand for Something

The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is the simple fact that we have to be FOR something rather than simply AGAINST something.  If conservatives desire to take control of our government from the radical liberals who now lead our nation, we must offer a better plan.  We need to change the way we do thing in order to overcome the problems that divide Americans.

Glenn Beck suggests that we start by learning the story of our nation:  “We don’t see the word `story’ in the word `history.’  … We get bogged down and even our schools get bogged down in the names and the dates and the memorization.  History is just a great story, and in history we will find every answer that we need….”

Beck continued his speech at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. by telling the crowd that the New Testament is the “greatest story” ever told.  He compared the New Testament to Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky.  Both books serve as a “framework for a revolution” but completely different revolutions.

Saul Alinsky was a “radical community organizer” from Chicago “who trained progressives to organize.”  He was instrumental in the lives of both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton; he was a mentor for Clinton and Obama’s instructor.  His book is dedicated to Lucifer and is “scripture” for radical liberals.

The teachings of Jesus Christ as contained in the New Testament are about “a revolution of peace, love and harmony”.  If we follow the teachings of Christ, we can win the revolution.  If not, we will not win.  We must take a stand for Christian principles instead of simply being against satanic principles.
