Do You Trust Your Government?

                Do you trust Barack Obama or any of his administration?  Do you trust the alphabet-soup agencies – CIA, FBI, CDC or any of the others?  Do you believe your government can run your life better than you can?  Do you believe the government has your best good in mind when writing laws and regulations?  If you do not, you are far from alone!  This could be the real reason why the 2014 election was such a smashing wave!

                It appears that in a period of just a few months, government agencies such as the Secret Service and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have lost the trust of more and more Americans.  Is the government being honest with Americans?  How can we tell?

                The Blaze has an interesting post about a recent poll put out by Pew Research shows that Americans’ trust in government continues to erode at a record pace.  Could it be because the government is not doing what it is supposed to do?  What happens when Americans no longer trust anything the government says or does?

                The post referred to comments made by Nathan Carter, a University of Georgia psychology professor, “who looked at declining trust in institutions over the last four decades.”  “Carter said “data on public trust over time is worrisome because it shows that even when events like the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks rally people around the government, the peaks of trust are never as high as in the past.  It points to a gradual but unmistakable degradation in the public’s belief in its institutions that he finds worrisome.”

                How about you?  What would does the government have to do to gain your trust back?  As for me, it would take a giant house-cleaning.  We would need a new President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, and Senate Majority Leader to begin.  Then we would need to put at least half of the House and half of the Senate out of office.  In addition, each federal employee and appointee – plus the judges – would have to prove they are trustworthy. 

                I believe there are secret combinations at work in an attempt to destroy the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms and liberties outlined in it.  We know that confirmed Communists and members of the Muslim Brotherhood hold government offices and work as federal employees.  Why?  As far as I am concerned, there is absolutely no reason for Americans to trust their government until the individuals who hold government office prove they are trustworthy.
