Freedom from Fear

                The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is the simple fact that we can be free from fear.  In these days of uncertainty of whether or not we can trust our government to do what is right, we do not need to live in fear.  Even though we cannot see the future and do not know what it will bring, we can be sure that Someone does see the future and does know what will happen in the future.  That Someone is our loving Heavenly Father, and He is in control of all things. 

                God is all powerful and all knowing.  He knows what the future holds for you and me individually, for groups of people, and for nations.  Because He loves His children, He reveals to His prophets what He wants His children to know.  We live in a day and age when living prophets and apostles walk the earth once again.  The most important message they deliver to us is that Heavenly Father is watching over us and that His Son, even Jesus the Christ, lives and blesses us.

                Elder David A.                 I know that Elder Bednar is an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ because the Holy Ghost has borne that witness to me.  I encourage you to listen to his counsel and special witness of Christ.  Whenever I start to feel fear, I simply remind myself that God is in control and I do not need to worry.  I know that I need to have simple, childlike faith in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.  I know They will help us and bless us if we are faithful.
