Freedom from Poor Leadership

The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is the simple fact that Americans must elect good leaders in order for our nation to prosper. Barack Obama has been a disaster as a President of the United from the first month. Even though I did not trust him even then, I gave him an opportunity to show me that I was wrong. When he started taking over General Motors Company and Chrysler Motors Company, I knew right away we were in trouble. I am counting down the days until Barack Obama is no longer the President of the United States. Some people are counting the minutes and hours also. As far as I am concerned, he cannot leave the office of POTUS too soon!

Mr. Obama recently gave his “farewell address” to make sure that everyone remembers his wonderful contributions to life in America. It appears that his “legacy” is more important than anything else. I have to laugh when I read the headlines that he is calling for unity in our nation after he spent eight years dividing us by race, religion, age, politics, and every other way. I believe that he is an evil man, but I know that he is a hypocrite!

Genevieve Wood posted an article at The Daily Signal titled “13 Inconvenient Truths About Obama’s Legacy.” She includes two videos where she discusses these truths. In the first video she discusses Mr. Obama’s six biggest domestic policy blunders, and in the second video she discusses his seven foreign policy disasters.

Wood starts her article by reminding her readers that Mr. Obama’s “rendition of history leaves out a few important facts” from his time in office. She then lists several of the blunders and disasters before giving more information and details in the videos.

“On the domestic front, the national debt has almost doubled on his watch. He is responsible for an unparalleled expansion of the job-killing regulatory state. And his signature policy, the Affordable Care Act, has proven to be anything but affordable for many Americans.
“His foreign policy and national security record also paints a bleak picture. By any objective measure, transnational terrorist threats are far greater today than when Obama took office in 2009. His policy of appeasement toward hostile regimes in Iran and Cuba [has] not made Americans safer or the Cuban people freer. And his refusal to adequately fund the U.S. military has threatened the readiness of our country’s armed forces.”

I hope that you will take the time to watch both videos. I found them very interesting and informative.
