More on Trump's 100 Days

There is much in the news about how much President Donald Trump accomplished during the first 100 days in office. The liberals do not give the President credit for accomplishing anything, but there are other people who recognize some good things that he did.

Rachel del Guidice posted an article titled “13 Ways Trump Has Rolled Back Government Regulations in His First 100 Days.” Since Barack Obama and his minions foisted many unnecessary regulations on Americans, there are many that need to be reviewed and rescinded. The author explains that by using the Congressional Review Act, Trump and Congress have sixty days to repeal regulations made by the executive branch. “The 60 days begins after Congress is notified that a rule has been finalized.”

According to the author, the law has been used only once successfully previous to this year. However, Congress passed and Trump signed the following regulatory rollbacks:
(1) Regulations governing the coal mining industry, (2) Regulations defining streams in the coal industry, (3) Regulations restricting firearms for disabled citizens, (4) A rule governing the government contracting process, (5) A rule covering public lands, (6) Reporting requirements regarding college teachers, (7) Regulations on state education programs, (8) Drug-testing requirements, (9) Hunting regulations for wildlife preserves in Alaska, (10) Internet privacy,
(11) Rule for logging workplace injuries, (12) Rule preventing states from withholding funds from Planned Parenthood, and (13) Rule on retirement savings.

The author explains the reasons and results for the rollbacks. I encourage you to follow the link to her article. I applaud the Trump administration for rolling back the regulations because I am of the opinion that fewer laws are better.
