Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day in
the United States. We celebrate Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November.
The holiday began as a celebration of the harvest. The Pilgrims celebrated the
First Thanksgiving in October 1621 after their first harvest in the New World.
Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks
and show gratitude for blessings. It is a day to remember the arrival and
survival of the Pilgrims in the New World. Since I enjoy many blessings, I will
use the day to express my gratitude to God for watching over and blessing my
family and friends.
