Where Does America Go from This Point?

             I hate to be negative, but I do not see the circumstances in the United States improving any time soon – if at all. Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, the strength and vitality of America is quickly being destroyed – and it seems to be happening on purpose. It does not seem possible that an administration can be wrong with every choice and policy unless they were doing it on purpose. I hope that I am wrong, but they double down on their so-called errors – and even call them successes.

            Terry Pauding seems to agree in his essay titled “The administration seems to be acting with malice aforethought.” For those without legal training, Pauding stated that “malice aforethought identifies murder or malicious bodily harm.” He continued: 

… From the election to COVID policy to how we left Afghanistan to inflation and the budget to energy policy to our lawless border, there is no way our entire U.S. government is stupid enough to make so many grievous policy decisions without malice and planning. They’re throwing ingredients into the stew pot to create socialism, and it’s an unsavory dish.

I am not a “conspiracy theorist,” because what I see is real – although leftists use the term against anyone sounding the alarm on any alarming event. From Hunter’s laptop to the election to the border crisis to the delta variant and vaccination, anyone who has questioned the integrity of our government is a “conspiracy theorist.” We have bent over backward to avoid these labels. No longer! Our country is being destroyed, and yes, it is a conspiracy or a series of them. There is simply no other explanation.

            Today I was pondering the Afghanistan situation. The U.S. military and State Department rescued more than 100,000 Afghanistan citizens without any vetting, but they left hundreds of American citizens behind enemy lines. After the military and state department departed, retired military and other civilians stepped into the breach to rescue Americans and supportive Afghanis.

            For the past week, there have been four airplanes sitting on the tarmac at the airport in Kabul. They were loaded with Americans and Afghanis and ready to take off. However, the U.S. State Department refused to assist them. Eventually, the people on the airplanes went into hiding to escape being killed by the Taliban.

            An American mother and her three children were aided in leaving Afghanistan by a group of American former military. She was at the Kabul airport numerous times and could not get through the gate. She was told by the Taliban that she would be killed if she returned. The U.S. State Department refused to help her every step of the way. With the help of her benefactors, she traveled 300 miles and crossed a border to leave Afghanistan. Now, the State Department is claiming that government officials were the people who rescued the mother and children.

            I have long thought that secret combinations were running the U.S. government. It is obvious from listening to Biden that he is not running the government. He cannot even remember the people who are supposedly working for him, and he often makes a statement like this: “I am not supposed to take questions” or “I am going to be in trouble.” Who is telling Biden what to do? Why is he in trouble for answering questions?

            It appears that the promise of Barack Obama to “fundamentally transform America” is being carried out by the Biden administration. Is Obama the person who is pulling Biden’s strings?

            As I have pondered the situation in America, I wondered how we can correct the problem. Democrats control the White House, the Senate, and the House of Representatives, the military, the State Department, the CIA, the FBI, and every other government agency. This situation will continue until at least November 2022. At the rate that the current administration is moving, we may not even recognize America in the next fourteen months.

            The only way that America can be saved is by patriotic Americans who recognize the dire situation in America and who will stand up for America – or by God. The first thing that Americans should do is to pray for America sincerely and regularly. This action will help to keep our hearts soft and invite God to intervene in our behalf.

I recently joined a group of Americans who stop what they are doing every single day at 8:00 p.m. Central Time to pray for America. I set an alarm on my cell phone to remind me, and I stop to pray at 5:00 Alaska Time. Yesterday, I was in the middle of mowing my front lawn when my alarm went off. I stood in the middle of my front lawn and prayed for America.

If God does not intervene, Americans may be forced to take up arms against our government. This is the reason why the Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights. The Framers of the Constitution had recently earned independence from a tyrannical government. They knew the importance of citizens having the right to keep and bear arms. It could become bloody and deadly to save America, but it could be bloody and deadly if we do not save America as we know it.
