How Many Other Democrats Do Not Recognize Their Political Party?

Ronald Reagan once quipped that he did not leave the Democrat Party; the party left him. Another well-known politician joined Reagan this week. Former Representative Tulsi Gabbard (41) from the liberal state of Hawaii announced today that she is leaving the Democrat Party.

Like Reagan before her, Gabbard gave her reason for leaving the Democrat Party as abandoning of some core principles, adopting the wokeness agenda, and trying to destroy the family. In other words, the Democrat Party went off the deep end trying to appease their Far-Left members.

In a thirty-minute announcement, Gabbard gave numerous reasons for her decision. "I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism."

Although Democrats claim that Gabbard has been moving right for several years, she did not say that she is joining another party. She merely said that she is leaving the Democrat Party. No one has described her as a conservative, even though she is not as far left as her former party. She just said that Democrat Party had moved too far left for her tastes, and she invited like-minded Democrats to join her in leaving the party.

I wonder how many other Democrats will accept her invitation. We know that more Blacks and Hispanics have recognized that the Democrat Party does not care about them or what is important to them.
