The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is that a written constitution outlining the principles of government will better preserve the inalienable rights of the people.
The Constitution of the United States is the result of many men working together to create a written document better and stronger than any individual among them could have produced. It is a remarkable document that has guided our nation for more than two hundred years.
For the past one hundred years progressives have been chipping away at the work of the Founders. They continue in their efforts to change the original intent of our Founders. If our Constitution had not been written and available for all citizens to study, progressives would have surely fundamentally transformed our nation long ago. Our written Constitution continues to slow down their efforts to destroy the rights of the people.
I am a grandmother who is concerned about the direction our country and world are headed and what my grandchildren will inherit. I want to do my part to bring peace on earth and sanity to our insane world.
WE THE PEOPLE of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
