Is the Family Under Attack?

            Children and families will benefit immensely if parents, communities, and nations understand that the family, the core unit of society, is under attack from evil sources.

            In September 1995, the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles published a document known as "The Family: A Proclamation to the World." At the time that the proclamation was published, marriage and the family were doing well. In the past twenty-five plus years, marriage and the family have come under severe attack. The prophets, seers, and revelators could see what was coming and tried to warn us. 

            I have watched in horror as the family has disintegrated, and children have suffered over the past two decades. However, I had no idea how bad it has become. I was stunned by the information in a video that I watched this week.

Evil perpetrators are earning millions of dollars by trafficking on children and teens. I know that knowledge brings power, so I am sharing the link to this video with the hope that more people will know what is happening in the world and how Americans are supporting child abuse in foreign nations. I encourage you to watch the video although it is difficult to see. As a warning, make sure that your children are out of the room and out of earshot.
