Senator Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska) thinks that every newborn baby deserves to live and grow up in a loving family and introduced a bill on Tuesday to protect them. Democrats apparently have no such thoughts because they are fighting Sasse’s attempt to protect newborn survivors of abortion. Most Americans want infanticide to end.
We’ve heard speech after speech after
speech that have nothing to do with what’s actually in this bill…. We’re
talking about babies that have already been born… We’re not talking about Roe
v. Wade….
This hearing is not about overturning Roe
v. Wade. In fact, this hearing is not actually about limiting access to
abortion at all. This hearing isn’t a debate about third-trimester, or
second-trimester, or first-trimester abortion. This hearing is about making
sure that very newborn baby has a fighting chance – whether she’s born in a
labor and delivery ward or whether she’s born in an abortion clinic.
According to Tony Perkins, there are hundreds of records and eyewitnesses bearing testimony that babies
who survive abortion are destroyed. This is evil, and Americans should know better
than to allow its most innocent citizens to be murdered. Please contact your
senators and tell them to support Sasse’s bill to protect babies that survive abortion.
