My VIP for this week is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his comment during his debate with former Governor Charlie Crist. In what has been described as a heated or fiery debate, DeSantis said the following about Crist:
Well listen, I know that Charlie is
interested in talking about 2024 and Joe Biden, but I just want to make things
very, very clear: The only worn out, old donkey I’m looking to put out to pasture
is Charlie Crist.”
That was the comment of DeSantis
after Crist tried to force him to say whether he would run for President of the
United States in 2024 or serve a full term as Governor of Florida. DeSantis is
a successful governor, while Crist flailed during his time in office. I hope
Floridians see clearly that DeSantis is the better governor – even if he stays
for only two years. That is long enough to help turn around the nation from its
dismal current position.
