Judge Jeanine Pirro

            My VIP for this week is Judge Jeanine Pirro, host of “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Fox Network on Saturday night. I chose Judge Jeanine because I like the way that she bluntly says what so many Americans are thinking. I chose her for this week because she is back on Fox after being taken off the air for two weeks.

            Judge Jeanine said something two weeks ago that was not popular in some parts of America. During her “Opening Statement on March 9, 2019, the Judge “chastised House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for not taking a stronger stand against anti-Semitic statements made by Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.” You can view the Judge’s statement here.

            I watched the Judge’s opening statement and saw absolutely nothing wrong with it, but the Council on American Islamic Relations and Fox News did. The council complained, and Fox tookPirro did not apologize for her remarks, but she did clarify them. She then invited Rep. Omar to come onto her show to discuss the issues facing America today.

            The Judge had support from Americans all the way to the White House, and her show returned two weeks later. You can see from her opening statement that she came out “firing both barrels” but without a single mention of being off the air. She did, however, thank her loyal audience at the end of the show. 

            I am happy to see Judge Jeanine back on the air because we need conservative voices who are brave enough to state the truth. We need her particularly because we are heading into an important election season.
