Liberal Hypocrisy

            The topic of discussion for this Constitution Monday concerns the hypocrisy of liberals in our nation. They want open borders and all asylum seekers to be admitted. They insist that illegal migrants cannot be separated from their children, they cannot be held for longer than twenty days, and they cannot be sent back to Mexico to stay until their court date. The only thing that liberals want to happen is for the illegals to be released into the United States – never to be seen again.

            Liberals declare “sanctuary cities” and “sanctuary states” and claim that they will accept all immigrants no matter who they are or how they arrived. They say that they will welcome all of them with open arms. This seems to be mere lies because they are very much “not in my backyard” people.

            A suggestion was floated by President Donald Trump that has liberals literally up-in-arms. He suggested that all asylum-seekers be sent to sanctuary cities and states where they are wanted so badly. The hypocrisy of the liberals was immediately evident.

            Speaker of the Nancy Pelosi has fought President Trump by “tooth and toe nail” about building a war to preserve the sovereignty of the United States. She has no problem with illegal aliens flooding our nation. Yet she claims that “rounding up immigrants and shipping them to sanctuary cities” such as New York City and San Francisco would be “disrespectful.” She says that the idea is “just another notion that is unworthy of the president of the United States and disrespectful of the challenges we face.” In other words, she “loves” all the illegal aliens flooding our nation, but she does not want any of them in her city. Now she is saying that dumping illegals on liberal cities is using them as pawns.

            Tucker Carlson says that Trump is calling liberals’ bluff on illegal aliens. He even brings the words of the liberals declaring that illegals should be welcome to America.

            I think that the President has a perfectly satisfactory idea. Liberals want to welcome all the illegal immigrants, while conservatives are trying to preserve the sovereignty of the nation. If liberals want the illegals, they should get them right on their doorstep. If they are unwilling to take them, then why should any other city take them?

            It is time for the immigration laws to be changed. It is time to close the loop holes that are encouraging caravans of Central Americans to come to the U.S. border. If liberals continue to fight the passing of good immigration laws, then all the illegals should be dumped in their cities.
