Invasion Is at Crisis Level

The United States is being invaded by thousands of foreigners each month. Democrats in Congress refuse to do anything to solve the problem, and in fact, do everything that they can to prolong it. Even a member of the Obama administration is declaring that there is a crisis at the southern border.

Former head of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson claims that there is a definite crisis. He says that the number of illegal aliens crossing our southern border every two months is approximately the population of Orlando, Florida.

We had 100,000 apprehensions in the month of March and another 100,000 in the month of April. That’s the highest it’s been in 12 years….

Think of it this way: that is the equivalent of the population of the city of Orlando, Florida, showing up on our southern border in the course of two months.

Johnson says that a border wall is needed at “strategic locations to help address the crisis. The “wall or fence” should not be considered “as a black and white issue” because there are places where a barrier is needed and/or replaced.

Shaun Hair also believes that here is a crisis on the southern border. He went so far as to list 31 facts to prove his point. His first two facts are: (1) “As of March 31, 2019, 361,087 migrants have been apprehended between the ports of entry in 2019, representing a 108 percent increase over the same time in 2018.” (2) “In March alone, the Border Patrol averaged over 3,000 apprehensions each day….”

Hair says that there are “three trends that make this migration flow a significant challenge.” The trends are: (1) “The majority of migrants arriving at the southwest border are members of family units” for a “374 percent increase” and “62 percent of all southwest border apprehensions.” (2) “The demographic makeup of this migration flow. “Eighty-three percent of all Border Patrol apprehensions along the southwest border are from the countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador” and “federal law prevents the swift repatriation of UAC form Central America.” (3) “The increase in claims of a fear of return to a migrant’s country of origin.” Total number for 2018 was about 93,000; number so far for 2019 is almost the same.

The crisis is not just the numbers of migrants crossing the border, but it is also the quality of the character of those who are coming. There are reports of people from many other nations mixing in with the Central Americans – some from Middle Eastern and African nations. There is a report that migrants El Salvador and Guatemala decided that their applications for temporary permits were taking too long, so they set “fire to an immigration center in the south of Mexico.” Is this the type of people that we want to welcome to our nation? I think not!
