Democrat America

            Have you ever wondered what would happen in the United States if a Democrat won the 2020 Presidential Election? I think that you can get a clear picture if you look back to the administration of Barack Obama. If you cannot remember the Obama years, you just need to listen to what the Democrats are saying to know what a Democrat America would be like.

            Charlie Kirk says that “Democrats are being surprisingly candid about exactly how they plan to unmake America and derail our current progress if voters hand them the keys to power in 2020.” The fact that they are so candid allows us to see their vision for America clearly. He gives numerous quotes for examples. 

            Former Vice President Joe Biden said the following during a recent political event. “[T]he fact of the matter is, there is plenty, plenty of money to go around. The first thing I would do as president is eliminate the president’s tax cut.”

            Kirk reminds us that Trump’s tax cuts saved Americans “an average of $1,400 on their federal taxes in 2018.” Plus, “families with children received an even bigger tax cut from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.” He asks Americans if they are “ready to say goodbye to that money in 2021.

            I agree with Kirk that most American families do not have enough money to lose that extra $1,400 every year. He quotes a study that says “60 percent of Americans” cannot “cover an unexpected $1,000 expense. Yet, Biden and other Democrats want to take the $1,400 yearly tax return away. Do you really want to vote for a Democrat?

            As the “Democrat-induced downturn” begins to take hold, Americans will begin to feel economic pain that will increase with each new regulation put in place. Kirk says that the private sector will be strangled with costly mandates and individual liberties will be trampled with rules. Democrats will reverse all the good effects of the economy, and soon you will be seeing family and friends, maybe even you, lose jobs and go on unemployment. Companies will begin to take their companies to foreign nations where there are fewer regulations and taxes.

            Kirk says that Democrats will “implement their open-borders immigration policies, and even more drugs and crime will cross the border. MS-13 gangs will have free rein to terrorize Americans, and drug cartels will bring even more opioids into the country. The entire nation will begin to look like the Democrat-controlled cities -- such as San Francisco and Los Angeles – are now beginning to look like third-world countries.

            Democrats will institute more socialist laws and do their best to destroy our constitutional way of life. If you liked living in America during the Obama years, you might like living in the new world created by Democrats. I will not.

            I lived through the Jimmy Carter years and the “misery index.” Carter wanted all Americans to just put on a sweater while they keep their heat at 68 degrees in the winter and their air conditioning at 78 degrees in the summer. There was severe unemployment, and foreign nations ridiculed America. Iran held 52 American diplomats and citizens hostage for 444 days, releasing them just as Ronald Reagan was inaugurated.

            I did not think that we could ever have a worse president that Carter until I saw America the conditions brought to us by the Barack Obama administration. The Trump Administration has spent the last two and a half years cleaning up the messes caused by Obama, and people still want another Democrat president. Are they stupid or just insane? They do not seem to realize that the next Democrat president promises to be even worse than Obama.

            My family and I survived the Carter and Obama years, and I do not look forward to more of the same type of president. I hope that all of my readers will vote for Donald Trump. You may not like him personally, but he is doing more for America than all the administrations since the time of Ronald Reagan.
