Who Stands with Trump?

             My VIPs for this week are Republicans who are standing with President Donald Trump as he fights yet another attempt from Democrats/Liberals/Far Left/Progressives in government, in media, and in entertainment. Media was in a great hurry to declare Joe Biden as the president-elect before the counts were finished. As some of you know, they did the same thing in 2000 when they declared Al Gore to be the next President of the United States. Thirty-seven days later, George W. Bush was declared by the Electoral College to be the President.

            None of us know at this point who the next President of the United States will be. Joe Biden was declared the winner, but no one knows if he has the most legal votes. Donald Trump received more votes than any incumbent president before him. He received a bigger share of the minority vote than any previous Republican candidate. In addition, there are credible accounts of fraud in several states. Do Democrats expect Americans to believe that Biden got more votes than Obama did in his glory days? Not probable!

            The honest thing to do, and the best thing to do for the integrity of future elections is to investigate the allegations of fraud. If Biden was “elected” by thousands of illegal votes and there are accounts of ballots with only Biden’s name marked on them, then he should not be rewarded by access to the Oval Office. On the other hand, if Biden won the election fair and square, then he should be called the president-elect – but not until it is proven.

            Republicans seem to have stood back and let Trump fight this battle by himself, but a few are now joining the fight. Others may be positioning themselves for the 2024 election with the belief that Trump’s supporters will automatically support them. NeverTrumpers and other Republicans think that they can harvest the bounties that Trump produced, but that will never happen. They will have to earn support just as Trump did. Trump worked hard and kept his promises to earn the support of more than 70,000,000 Americans. Never in my life have I seen a President work harder for Americans and even donate his salary to American causes. He worked 12-20 hours per days without pay! He has proven by his “fruits” that he cares about the American people more than he cares about his own wealth and power. Those of us with eyes to see and ears to hear know that he is in politics only because he felt that America needed a fighter like him. Other people prefer to think of him as a bully.

            Trump had a good life before becoming President, and he will have a good life after leaving office. He has enough money to do what he wants in life, and he has children who love and support him. He has a beautiful wife who is apparently standing by him despite his faults and weaknesses. He does not need to be in the Oval Office to have power and influence, and I believe that he will be a kingmaker for numerous elections in the future. His ability to draw crowds will be helpful for any candidate – and I would not rule out a 2024 run by Donald Trump if this one goes against him.

I believe that Donald Trump will go down in history as one of the greatest Presidents in our history. It may not happen in my lifetime or even in the lifetime of my children. However, when historians look at his accomplishments, I believe that they will see his greatness.
