Parents can strengthen their families, communities, and nations by being aware of the goals of Disney. Recent events show that Disney can no longer be trusted to provide clean and innocent entertainment for children. Parents can no longer associate Disney with wholesome entertainment and protection of innocent children. Any such ideas were shattered by the recent disclosure of excerpts from a Disney Zoom meeting that were received and published by journalist Christopher Rufo on Twitter. See also.
SCOOP: I’ve obtained video from inside Disney’s
all-hands meeting about the Florida parental rights bill, in which executive
producer Latoya Raveneau says her team has implemented a “not-at-all-secret gay
agenda” and is regularly “adding queerness” to children’s programming.
SCOOP: Disney corporate president Karey
Burke says, “as the mother [of] one transgender child and one pansexual child,”
she supports having “many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories” and
wants a minimum of 50 percent of characters to be LGBTQIA and racial
minorities.
SCOOP: Disney diversity and inclusion
manager Vivian Ware says the company has eliminated all mentions of “ladies,” “gentlemen,”
“boys,” and “girls” in its theme parks in order to create “that magical moment”
for children who do not identify with traditional gender roles.
SCOOP: Disney production coordinator Allen
March says his team is committed to “exploring queer stories” and has created a
“tracker” to make sure they are creating enough “gender nonconforming
characters,” “canonical trans characters,” and “canonical bisexual characters.”
As you can see from the above
tweets, Disney executives have chosen to leave the arena of wholesome entertainment.
They are much more interested in supporting the LGBTQIA community than in
providing wholesome and appropriate entertainment for children. The following
tweet from the Walt Disney Company further shows their agenda.
“Florida’s HB 1557, also known as the ‘Don’t
Say Gay’ bill, should never have passed and should never have been signed into
law. Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or
struck down in the courts, and we remain committed to supporting the national
and state organizations working to achieve that. We are dedicated to standing
up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as
the LGBTQ+ community in Florida and across the country.”
The LGBTQ+ community, Disney, mainstream
media, and others refer to the Florida bill as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. This
is ironic because the word gay is not in the bill at all, and the bill
does not make it illegal to say gay. What the bill does, however, is
protect children in kindergarten through third grade from being indoctrinated into
the LGBTQ+ community.
Florida does not allow any sex
education – same sex or opposite sex -- in its schools until fifth grade.
Therefore, teachers and other adults should not be discussing anything about
sex in the classrooms until fifth grade. The new law is in place to protect children
and to protect parental rights to instruct their children about sex in their
own way and at their time of choice. Obviously, Disney and the LGBTQ+ community
want to push their own agenda rather than what the children need and parents desire.
I have long been aware of the
indoctrination imbedded in Disney films. I love “Mary Poppins,” and I watched
it many times before I became aware of the indoctrination in it. I was shocked
when I realized that it pushes the feminist agenda by minimizing the value of
men. Since that day, I have been more open minded while watching Disney movies.
With the latest revelations from Disney executives, wise parents will rethink their allegiance to all things Disney. I encourage parents to cancel any vacations to Disney Land or Disney World, to drop the Disney channel, and to stop purchasing Disney products. Parents can strengthen their family, community, and nation by being aware of what their children are learning from entertainment sources.
