What Are the Threats against the U.S. Constitution?

The topic of discussion for this Constitution Monday concerns threats to the U.S. Constitution from various sources – communists, Islamists, drug cartels, China, and other groups and nations.

Communists have long sought to take over America. Nikita Khrushchev (First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1953 to 1964) famously said on November 18, 1956: “We will take America without firing a shot. We do not have to invade the U.S. We will destroy you from within.” Think about it: A communist was just elected as the mayor of New York City, and another one was elected as the mayor of Seattle. 

In addition, various Islamist groups have tried to insert sharia law into the Unite States. Americans must understand that sharia law is directly opposed to the U.S. Constitution. They cannot exist together. I understand that a bill has been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives banning sharia law in America. We will see what happens to it.

Incumbent mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey (D) is a radical leftist, according to Liz Wheeler, Blaze TV host. However, Rp. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) does not like him, and she supported his opponent for mayor, Omar Fateh, a Somali American. She was furious when Fateh lost, and she responded angrily by “giving an angry speech in her native tongue.” She obviously wanted the Somalis in America to know how she felt, but she might have used her native tongue in hopes that only Somalis would understand what she said. 

“When a Somali person becomes an enemy, they become a serious one,” she yelled in Somali. “There are people like that living right here in our city. We all see them. Some of us try to dismiss it, saying, ‘Oh, that person just talks too much, it doesn’t mean anything,’ or ‘Leave them alone, that’s my relative.’”

“You’ve seen them. We need to get rid of these people. We will never gain power and move forward as Somalis as long as these people live among us and we don’t kick them out. The same people [Somalis] we try to defend, they’re the ones who spread lies about us. And when that happens, there’s no way to defend ourselves. I can’t keep saying all day, ‘I didn’t say that’ because I’ve got work to do,” she continued.

“We’re busy doing our jobs, defending you [Somalis], protecting this country. I can’t waste every day fighting against accusations … that’s your responsibility, and your job is to not welcome those people who work to block and undermine Somalis,” she added.

Wheeler explained that it is “critical to understand” that “Ilhan Omar is a member of the Democrat Socialists of America” as well as part of the famous “squad” in the House. Wheeler states that Omar supports Bernie Sanders, AOC, and other “people who dislike America and want to transform us into a socialist nation.”

“Ilhan Omar primarily presents herself as being a DSA candidate. This sort of radical sect of the Democrat Party, but that’s not really who she is. Because Jacob Frey, the incumbent mayor of Minneapolis, actually meets all of those qualifications,” she continues…..

Wheeler points out that it is because it is not all about politics to someone like Ilhan Omar.

“It’s about Islam. Socialism and Marxism and communism are means to an end. They are a tool to achieve a secondary outcome. But to Ilhan Omar, the ultimate outcome is Islam,” Wheeler says, pointing out that in the video of her speech after Fateh’s loss, she is speaking like “she’s living in a caliphate.”

Ilhan Omar is a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and she is actively promoting downfall of the U.S. Constitution. There is something wrong, very wrong, about such a scenario. Communists, socialists, Islamists, and other groups are working together to take down the United States. The U.S. Constitution is being threatened as it has never been previously threatened. Remember the threat from Khrushchev sixty years ago: “We will destroy you from within.”

Khrushchev is not the only person to recognize America can only be destroyed from within. Ariel Durant stated: “A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within.” The same site credits Abraham Lincoln as saying the following long before he was President of the United States. 

All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest, with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected? I answer, if it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us. It cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.
