What Else Is Hidden in Burn Bags and Secret Rooms?

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) and “Deep State” or “swamp” are real. Ancient Americans such groups “secret combinations.” Many people hate President Donald Trump so much that they will oppos anything that he does. Other people thought TDS was just a figment of imagination, but it has proven to be real. It comes to different levels of severity. A mild case may simply be judgmental about Trump’s morality – two divorces, three wives, filthy mouth.

More severe levels affect the thinking: Whatever Trump says or does is wrong and must be opposed. Some people have such bad cases of TDS that they hope that Iran wins the war because they do not want Trump to succeed.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has been instrumental in uncovering records proving that there is TDS. In his article published at The Daily Signal, Pedro Rodriguez explained that Gabbard declassified and released documents on Monday that “she says show that officials within the Intelligence Community mishandled and politicized a whistleblower complaint that ultimately led to President Donald Trump’s first impeachment in 2019.” 

According to Gabbard, the newly released records allege that what she described as “deep state actors” collaborated with then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., to advance what she called a “false narrative” surrounding the whistleblower complaint.

In a statement accompanying the release, Gabbard accused Schiff and Pelosi of withholding transcripts of closed-door congressional testimony from former Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson – records she said would have undercut claims of Trump-Russia collusion dating back to 2017.

Gabbard said those transcripts were kept from the House Judiciary Committee until March 24, 2026, when they were released following a forced vote led by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rich Crawford.

The declassified documents, Gabbard said, show that Atkinson departed from standard inspector general investigative procedures and relied on what she characterized as politicized and manufactured narratives when handling the whistleblower complaint tied to Trump’s July 2019 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the records, Atkinson’s preliminary inquiry involved interviews with only four individuals: the whistleblower, a friend of the whistleblower who assisted in authoring the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment on Russia and weas an associate of former FBI agent Peter Strzok, and two character references who lacked firsthand knowledge of the Trump-Zelenskyy call.

The documents further state that the whistleblower acknowledged having no direct, firsthand knowledge of the call. One quoted statement attributed to the whistleblower reads, “I do not have direct knowledge of private comments or communications by the President.”

Gabbard said the records show that no formal or complete investigation was conducted before the complaint was transmitted to Congress. Despite lacking firsthand evidence, she alleged that Atkinson moved forward in a way that exceeded his statutory authority and “weaponized” the whistleblower process.

By disregarding guidance from the Department of Justice and relying on secondhand information, Gabbard said Atkinson facilitated the complaint’s transmission to Congress, its referral to the FBI, and its eventual leak to the media.

Gabbard argued that Schiff and Pelosi then used the secondhand allegations to drive media coverage and lay the groundwork for Trump’s impeachment by the House in December 2019. “The politicization of the whistleblower process by a former CIA employee who was working hand in glove with Democrats in Congress (is an egregious example) of the deep state playbook on how to weaponize the Intelligence Community,” Gabbard said.

“Exposing these tactics and showing how they undermine the fabric of our democratic republic furthers the critical cause of transparency and accountability and will help prevent future abuse of power,” she continued.

  

Will Trump Drain the Swamp During His Second Term?

American voters elected Donald Trump to change the direction of the United States, and Trump has made no secret of his plans to Make America Great Again (MAGA). Nevertheless, the woke bureaucrats and their allies on the Left have no plans to change how they do business.

Eight years ago, Trump was elected on his promise to “Drain the Swamp,” and he tried to follow through on his promise. However, the Deep State, otherwise known as “The Swamp,” made his job difficult by fighting against him every step of the way. When they struggled to stop him, they impeached him – not once, but twice.

Trump will enter the office of President of the United States as a wiser man, and he is surrounding himself with men and women that he can trust. The Deep State knows that they are in trouble, so they are working to thwart Trump once again. Tyler O’Neil, managing editor at The Daily Signal, claims that the “bureaucrats have hatched at least three strategies to oppose him: returning to the left-wing nonprofit sphere to act as a government-in-waiting; passing new regulations to cement their ideology into the rules before Trump can reverse them; and burrowing into the bureaucracy to oppose him from within, the same way they did during his first term.” 

O’Neil claims that Trump will have to remove clogs in the drains before he can drain the swamp. Here are O’Neil’s explanations for how the bureaucracy is fighting back.

1. The Revolving Door

Trump has vowed to carry out a mass deportation of illegal aliens, but it is often better for aliens to “deport” themselves by leaving the country on their own terms. Similarly, some woke bureaucrats in the administrative state have begun the process of self-deportation, electing to depart the Biden-Harris administration on their own terms before Trump forces them out of government….

2. ‘Trump-Proofing’ the Bureaucracy

Even before Trump won the 2024 presidential election, bureaucrats had been gearing up to “Trump-proof” the administrative state.

In April, the Office of Personnel Management finalized a rule that will make it harder for Trump to reinstate his “Schedule F” executive order – an order that would have made it easier for the president to fire certain bureaucrats.

Public sector unions have also schemed with bureaucrats to tie Trump’s hands ahead of time….

3. Retrenchment

Of course, many bureaucrats will simply refuse to leave.

While some federal bureaucrats are already looking for other work, many are feverishly working to protect their jobs ahead of the Trump purge, The Washington Post reported. Bureaucrats have started scrubbing social media and even changing their job titles in an effort to preserve their woke functions in the coming new Trump administration.

Some agencies are reclassifying jobs with “titles that could clash with Trump’s agenda, especially those promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, boosting environmental justice and fighting the effects of climate change,” the Post reports.

In other words, the Environmental Protection Agency is working to reclassify the climate activist and purveyor of critical race theory (the notion that America is systemically racist against black people) who got hired to further “environmental justice,” to hide the real reason he has a job….

Since the Deep State fought so hard against Trump in his first administration, no one should expect that the swamp creatures will go any easier this time. However, Trump is not fighting the war against the Deep State by himself this time. He is surrounding himself with people who understand the importance of putting America First and who will support Trump in his effort to drain the swamp.

Why Does the Deep State Hate Donald Trump?

Former President Donald Trump was indicted yesterday in Miami, Florida, on federal charges stemming from presidential papers. After his court appearance, he flew to his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he spoke with supporters. He denounced the latest case against him, calling it “the most evil and heinous abuse of power in the history of our country.” He also called the case a “sham indictment put forward by the Biden administration.” 

“This day will go down in infamy, and Joe Biden will forever be remembered as not only the most corrupt president in the history of our country but perhaps even more importantly, the president who – together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits, and Marxists – tried to destroy American democracy,” Trump told an audience of supporters….

“I will appoint a real special prosecutor to go after the most corrupt president in the history of the United States of America, Joe Biden, and the entire Biden crime family; name a special prosecutor; and all others involved in the destruction of our elections, our borders, and our country itself. They are destroying our country,” Trump said.

Trump pleaded not guilty in federal court in Miami yesterday. Then his supporters in New Jersey sang “Happy Birthday” to him because his birthday is today.

Democrats are indicting Trump for how he handled papers, while the FBI has evidence that Joe Biden sold national policies to foreign nations for millions of dollars. This fact should tell Americans about where the danger is. If Democrats win the next election, all hope for an American come back will be lost – or nearly so. Donald Trump is the only presidential candidate in either party that has the knowledge and skills to possibly restore America to pre-Biden conditions – roaring economy, secure borders, strong foreign policy. I pray that God will bless America and save us from our own stupidity!

How Do We End the Deep State?

The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is the fact that a faction known as the Deep State is controlling the government of the United States. Most of my long-term readers understand that I believe that the Deep State would be known as a secret combination(s) if we were living in Book of Mormon times.

Secret combinations were responsible for the total destruction of two ancient American civilizations – the Nephites and the Jaredites. Moroni wrote counsel for the people of the latter-days about the danger of secret combinations. In Ether 8:18-25, Moroni explained that the Jaredites “formed a secret combination” (v. 18) and that the Lord does not work in secret combinations (v. 19). He said that secret combinations “are had among all people” (v. 20).

21 And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.

22 And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, behold, they shall be destroyed….

23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles [He wrote to use!], it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain – and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you….

25 For it cometh to pass that whoso buildeth it up seeketh to overthrow the freedom of all lands, nations, and countries; and it bringeth to pass the destruction of all people….

Moroni said that secret combinations are among all people and that we should not let them get control of our nation. Tyler O’Neil wrote that the next conservative president would have the great task to take down the Deep State. A group of conservatives are planning for that time in a project known as 2025 Presidential Transition Project, also known as Project 2025, and laying the groundwork for the task. 

O’Neil wrote that every new president goes through a transition. There are many people working for the federal government who support big government policies, so liberal presidents have many people helping to move their agenda forward. “President Trump faced stiff headwinds from a hostile federal bureaucracy he often referred to as “the deep state.”

While liberal presidents have many helpers, “Most good conservative presidents don’t really get it all figured out until the end of their second term,” said Rick Dearborn, former deputy chief of staff to President Donald Trump, in an interview with The Daily Signal. Dearborn gave four pillars of Project 2025 – “which does not just represent The Heritage Foundation alone but ‘the entire conservative movement.’”

Pillar 1: Mandate for Leadership

The book, “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise,” represents the first pillar of the strategy, Dearborn explained. The book, to which more than 450 authors contributed, runs nearly 900 pages long, with in-depth explanations and recommendations for various aspects of the federal government, from the White House Office to the Department of Health and Human Services to the Intelligence Community, and so much more….

This in-depth treatment of the administrative state, peppered with major policy changes such as splitting the Centers for Disease Control into two separate agencies, represents merely one of the four pillars, however.

Pillar 2: People Are Policy

Project 2025 isn’t just publishing a book – it’s also compiling a list, and checking it far more than twice.

“I think it all starts with the people,” Dearborn said. “Conservatives have never had a large number collected in one spot of conservative scholars and academics and policy experts that you could just pull off the shelf and say, ‘Okay, if you’re going to populate the Department of Defense, here are the five people that really understand the conservative philosophy on how to promote and protect our national security.’”

Project 2025 does not just intend to compile a list of strong potential appointees; it also aims to train these people for the jobs they would take under a conservative president, Dearborn explained….

If the good conservatives who might fill the key political positions don’t know what they need to know, Project 2025 will step in and equip them.

Pillar 4: Executive Orders

Project 2025 is also compiling an appendix to equip a future conservative president on policy. “When you write an executive order, when you’re working on a regulation, if you want to roll back a regulation, if you want to promote a program, if you want to work with outside government-affiliated groups, how does this work?” Dearborn asked. The appendix aims to answer these questions and give “some game plans that they can use so that they’re not having to build them from scratch from day one.”

Dearborn said he wishes that the Trump transition team had a book like “Mandate for Leadership” in 2016.

He noted that Project 2025 will be meeting “with all of the different current announced conservative presidential candidates” and some who “may not have yet announced, providing them a book, and walking through what the different pillars are.”

A Call to Action

The former deputy chief urged conservatives to join Project 2025 in a concrete way….

There is a secret combination, or a combination of secret combinations, working within the government that will eventually destroy the government of the United States unless their power is destroyed. Project 2025 is one way that conservatives are preparing to destroy the Deep State and bring America back to compliance with the Constitution. If they are successful, they will save the Constitution and the American way of life. If unsuccessful, America will continue to slide further down the slippery slope to destruction. What choice do we have?
