Did Joe Biden Take Showers with His Daughter Ashley?

The liberty principle for this Freedom Friday is that the truth eventually comes out. The diary of President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley Biden was in question for some time. Snopes and other left-leaning individuals and publications questioned the validity of the diary over the past months. However, Snopes recently changed its rating, which shows that the story was true all along. Joseph MacKinnon published an article at The Blaze giving the history of the story.

Aimee Harris moved into the former residence of Ashley Biden in Delray Beach, Florida, in 2020. Just as Hunter Biden abandoned a laptop containing damning information at a Delaware computer repair shop, Ashley Biden had left behind a diary containing troubling allegations that implicated then presidential-candidate Joe Biden in possible abuse.

After finding the diary, Harris worked in concert with Robert Kurlander to sell the document, ultimately, to Project Veritas. Kurlander and Harris pleaded guilty years later to conspiracy to transport supposedly stolen property across state lines.

Project Veritas refrained from publishing it, both out of concern for doing more harm to Ashley Biden than her father may already have and the organization’s inability to “corroborate the allegation further.” The National File, however, published a digital copy it allegedly received from a Project Veritas employee in October 2020.

Just as social media dutifully hid the Hunter Biden laptop story from the public ahead of the 2020 election, PolitiFact indicated that damning posts about the Democrat in the diary were flagged as misinformation.

Once again, the so-called misinformation of yesteryear has matured into the cold hard facts of today.

Snopes previously indicated that the claim was “unproven” but updated it fact-check page to confirm that the diary does in fact belong to Ashley Biden and that Ashley accused her father – Joe Biden – of inappropriate behavior.

You may wonder what changed. Snopes, having previously indicated that the “authenticity of this document or the images published by National File have not been confirmed.” However, there is nothing like the truth to cause changes. Ashley Biden, 42, confirmed in “an April 8 letter to the judge overseeing Harris’ case in New York” that the diary belonged to her.

Ashley Biden confirmed that she owned the diary, but she tried to cast doubt on her entries in the diary, calling them “stream-of-consciousness thoughts.” These are some of the questionable entries:

·         “Was I molested. I think so.”

·         In a January 2019 entry, Ashley Biden explored the causes of her “sexual trauma” and apparent sex addiction, which she considered to be better than drugs.

·         Ashley Biden concluded that childhood trauma could have caused her unchecked sex drive.

·         “Hyper-sexualized @ a young age. What is this due to? Was I molested. I think so – I can’t remember specifics but I do remember trauma – I remember not liking the Woolzacks house, I remember somewhat being sexualized with Caroline [Biden, her cousin]; I remember having sex with Friends @ a young age; showers w/my dad (probably not appropriate), Being turned on when I wasn’t suppose to be.”

With the update by Snopes, it is fair to ask: Is Joe Biden’s habit of taking showers with his daughter and molesting her better or worse than Donald Trump’s moral problems? Squeaky clean Joe Biden does not seem to be so clean anymore.

Who Is Robert Hur?

I chose Robert Hur for my VIP for this week because he is one of the few people who are willing to be truthful about the cognitive ability of President Joe Biden. At least half of the voters in the 2020 presidential election could see that Joe was already senile at that time. As time goes along, more people have expressed dismay at the mental health of the POTUS.

Aamer Madhani, Steve Peoples, and Colleen Long published a story at AP News about Hur’s special counsel report. The authors jumped on Hur’s statement that “no criminal charges against Biden are warranted” and pointed out that this is a “key difference from Donald Trump’s situation.” However, the authors said that “there was evidence that Biden ‘willfully’ retained and disclosed highly classified materials when he was a private citizen. And it highlights his confusion and ‘significantly limited’ recall of events related to the documents.’”  They did not mention Hur’s description of Biden an “elderly man with a poor memory.” The authors gave the following takeaways from Hur’s 345-page report.

It's Bad News For Biden’s Anti-Chaos Argument

Biden can breathe easier knowing he won’t face criminal charges for his handling of the documents. But the Hur report nonetheless does damage to Biden’s case that he brings normalcy to the presidency after the chaos of Ttump’s tenure….

Trump is under criminal indictment for knowingly hanging on to classified records t his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida and resisting turning them over…. Biden, for his part, faces no charges.

Weeks after the FBI searched Trump’s private residence and turned up classified documents, Biden slammed his predecessor as “totally irresponsible.”

As Biden ramps up his 2024 reelection campaign – and his case against Trump – he’s not likely to try that argument again.

Biden’s Hazy Memory Raises New Questions About Age

The 81-year-old Biden was already dogged by questions about whether he’s too old to serve a second term. The special counsel report will hardly be helpful to Biden on that count.

Hur noted that “Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited” in interview with the special counsel office as well as with a ghostwriter that Biden worked with….

Polls have shown that many Americans, including Democrats, have concerns about Biden’s age. He would be 86 at the end of his second term if reelected.

Trump Gets Ammo To Play Down His Own Documents Case

Biden was absolved of criminal behavior, but it’s Trump who may benefit.

The Republican former president, who is on a glidepath to his party’s nomination this year, has been charged with dozens of felony counts related to his handling of classified materials stored at his Florida estate after leaving the White House. Trump has been crying foul on the campaign trail for much of the last year, noting that Biden had also stored classified material in his garage.

Thursday’s report will have little bearing on Trump’s legal case, but it makes his political argument stronger….

Report Stirs Memories of 2016 Probe of Hillary Clinton

The parallels are striking.

An embattled candidate Trump was struggling under the weight of mounting political crises on the eve of the general election that year when federal investigators made an unusual announcement about his Democratic opponent’s handling of classified documents: Hillary Clinton’s emails.

In late October of 2016, FBI Director James Comey announced that Clinton would not face criminal charges in an investigation into her handling of State Department emails on her private server after having castigated her months earlier for being “extremely careless.” It was a legal victory for her. But the politics were bad for Democrats….

Biden Thought Personal Notebooks Were His Property

During his interview with special counsel investigators, Biden was emphatic that his notebooks were “my property.”

“Every president before me has done the exact same thing,” he said.

The statement had echoes of former President Donald Trump, who has been charged with illegally possessing classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate after he left office.

“Under the Presidential Records Act, which is civil, not criminal, I had every right to have these documents,” Trump has said.

Sounds similar, but there are some differences. Trump was arguing that large swaths of presidential records were his personal property. Biden was making a specific claim about personal writings, for which there is legal precedent….

Investigators said that Biden mentioned that former President Ronald Reagan kept diaries in his home and that contemporaneous evidence form the investigators suggested that Biden believed he could keep the notebooks at home.

That’s true. Reagan left the White House in 1989 with eight years’ worth of handwritten diaries though they contained top secret information, investigators said. Those documents came up during criminal litigation in the late 1980s and were referred to by the justice department as “personal records.” ….

Report Takes Shots at Biden’s Memory, Mental Capacity

The special counsel’s report takes what seems at times gratuitous aim at Biden’s memory and mental capability as it lays out the ways in which the president could mount a hypothetical defense had he been charged with a crime.

It reports: “We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

Why so harsh? The Justice Department is in a precarious position, investigating Biden, his son Hunter and also Donald Trump on separate accusations, all during the 2024 presidential campaign….

The dings at Biden’s memory were blasted as cheap, false shots by Biden’s attorney and White House lawyers, who said the report uses prejudicial words to describe “a commonplace occurrence among witnesses: a lack of recall of years-old events.”

Will the Real Joe Biden Stand Up?

My VIP for this week is Joe Biden. He is a VIP because he is President of the United States. However, he is fast proving that he is the worst President in recent history. He long ago passed Barack Obama – who passed Jimmy Carter. I did not think that it would be possible for a President to be worse than Carter, but I have been proven wrong twice.

Biden campaigned on the idea that he was a “moderate elder statesman” who would unite Americans after the terrible Trump administration. Instead, he has divided the nation even further. His lack of capabilities as a leader has been exposed for everyone to see. According to Neil Patel, co-founder of The Daily Signal, “the Biden administration is a rudderless, leaderless, overly ideological mess.” His press conference last week did not help his image.

Biden does not recognize reality when it hits him in the face. He does not understand why Americans lost faith in him due to the terrible Afghanistan withdrawal that he claimed that we could do “responsibly, deliberately, and safely.” How about those thirteen new gold star families?

Biden claimed that Donald Trump was unfit to be the President because he was responsible for the deaths of 220,000 Americans from COVID-19. If this statement was true for Trump, it is even more true for Biden because 400,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 during his presidency. Biden did admit that there have been delays in getting testing kits out to the public, but he did not mention that the delays were self-inflicted by his own staff.

Probably the worst thing that Biden has done is to equate those “opposing his voting bills with [Democrat] racists from the past.” Patel explained Biden’s poor judgment.

Worst of all, when challenged on his recent remarks equating those who oppose his voting bills with racists from the past, Biden denied the charge even as he continued to press it forward. Then he actually called into question the legitimacy of the coming midterm elections if his attempts to federalize election rules do not succeed.

This again is a story that is not complicated. Many states drastically liberalized voting rules during the COVID-19 pandemic. They increased early voting, expanded mail-in voting, implemented drive-thru voting, counted late votes, and even allowed ballot harvesting. Some states are now pulling back from some of these COVID-19 expansions.

We need rules for voting. Democrats believe looser rules help them. Republicans believe tighter rules help them. The lines must be drawn somewhere, and it’s legitimate to debate them. However, it’s flat-out wrong for the president of the United States to pretend that racism is at the root of state resistance to wide-open federally imposed voting mechanisms.

The president’s race-card play is not only below the dignity of his office, but it’s another example of the amateur nature of his administration’s tactics. He needs the support of Democratic Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin to pass his bills. Who decided calling them racists was a good strategy?

Biden does not seem to even understand that his so-called popularity numbers– getting the most votes of any President in history – are falling to the lowest levels in his presidency. Politico published the following numbers: no energy (58%), not a strong leader (57%), not mentally fit for office (49%), and the nation is on the wrong track (two-thirds of Americans).

The Democrat Party is not doing any better than Biden with more Americans supporting “the Republican Party over the Democrat Party than at any point since 1995.” One year ago, 49% of people considered themselves to be Democrats and 40% as Republicans. Now it is Republicans 47% and Democrats 42%. “This is the largest Republican lead since 1991.” If support dropped so far in one year, what will it be like by 2024? Biden and the Democrat Party are a total disaster for themselves and for America.
